| As a stand up comedian, JIM GAFFIGAN's
cutting edge, clever style has earned him 9 unprecedented appearances
on the Late Show with David Letterman. After Jim's first appearance,
Letterman chose to develop a sitcom for Jim through his production
company, World Wide Pants. A year and half later, Welcome
to New York debuted to critical acclaim.
The Wall Street Journal declared Jim "a true find". TV Guide
nominated him for Best New Sitcom Actor. Last season Jim co-starred
with Ellen Degeneres on CBS in The Ellen Show and presently
has recurring roles on both NBC's Ed and FOX's That
70's Show.
Jim has also appeared numerous times on Late Night with Conan
0'Brien, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and
Comedy Central's Dr. Katz. He had his own half-hour comedy
special for Comedy Central and performed at the prestigious
HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, and the
world-renowned Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada.
Jim has been seen in over two dozen feature films including Igby Goes Down, Supertroopers, Three Kings, Road Trip, Endsville,
Personals and Entropy. He's also appeared in two
films chosen for the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. Some recognize
Jim from his numerous commercial campaigns, which include ESPN,
Saturn, and Rolling Rock. His commercial presence was a so large
and successful in 1999 that Business Week called him "Salesman
of The Year". He recently released two comedy CDs, Luigi's
Doghouse and Economics II.
